What was the original intent of composer Johann Hummel's "Trumpet Concerto"?

David Reynolds, the Director of the School of Performing Arts and Professor of Music at South Dakota State University, has set out to find the answer. He spent time abroad trying to unravel the mystery.

He shares his thoughts with In the Moment.
