The Rushmore Music Festival has its first faculty concert this Saturday.
The concert will feature a new rendition of Beethoven's Triple Concerto, played as a trio without an orchestra, performed by faculty and legendary violinist Almita Vamos.
Almita Vamos is a distinguished guest artist-in-residence for the Rushmore Music Festival. She is a graduate of the Julliard School. She has received numerous accolades, including winning the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching six times.
Violist Brett Walfish is the co-founder and executive director of the Rushmore Music Festival.
