The Veterans Administration is moving forward with its plans to shut down some of its facilities in Hot Springs and move some services to Rapid City.
The VA is putting forward an Environmental Impact Statement on its plans to shutter some of veterans services in Hot Springs and to build new facilities closer to larger population centers.
The move has brought outcry from Hot Springs residents and the state’s congressional delegation.
