Bitcoin In South Dakota

The global phenomenon of the crypto-currency bitcoin is not leaving South Dakota behind.
 
Bitcoins can be used like money to exchange goods over the internet.  They first became available in 2011 and then skyrocketed in price over the last year.

SDPB’s Charles Michael Ray spoke with a South Dakota business owner who is considering accepting bitcoins as a new form of currency.  But not everyone is convinced bitcoins are a safe investment.
