Country Singer Eric Church is coming to Sioux Falls to perform at the newly constructed Denny Sanford Premier Center. Even though this isn't the first concert event in the new venue, it's the first concert to be announced. Staff members are raving about how things are only going to get better.
Chris Semrau is the Assistant General Manager for the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls. He says Eric Church is one guy who never would have come to Sioux Falls to perform at the current arena. Semrau says finding talent to fill the new building is stressful but exciting at the same time.
"Well the booking job is really a sales job. It's selling the community, it's selling the facility and showing that the community and the region will support good entertainment. So you want to find something that the people want to see at the price they want to pay," Semrau explains.
Semrau says other events are already booked but the events staff wants to wait until the appropriate time to release more. He raves at how important it is to create a great experience.
"It really comes down to the guest experience. If people come and they are proud of the facility and have a great time at our event and feel it's a great way to spend their hard earned disposable income, that makes it worth while for us," Semrau says.
Eric Church brings his world tour to Sioux Falls on December 6.
