This Thursday morning at 9, the Human Trafficking Awareness Conference begins in Pierre. This conference will provide information to South Dakotans about human trafficking and the tools available to combat it.
Kelly Patterson is one of the presenters and has written a book about being trafficked in South Dakota. Tammy Sellars is a case manager for the National Farmworker Jobs Program, the organization that's hosting the conference.
