By all indications Attorney General Marty Jackley is getting ready to run for governor.
While no formal announcement has been made, Jackley has formed a statewide Candidate committee called “Marty Jackley for Governor.”
The move comes a day after Congresswoman Kristi Noem announced her bid for the state’s highest office.
Jason Glodt, the state director of the campaign for Marsy’s Law, which added a crime victim’s bill of rights to the state constitution, has been tapped as the treasurer of the campaign.
Glodt says the statewide candidate committee is another step in the process of running for governor and that an official announcement will come shortly.
