The state legislative session has wrapped, and the ending was as dynamic as the beginning. A House select committee recommended that Attorney Jason Ravnsborg not be impeached. Governor Noem called that action "cowardice." Noem also vetoed legislation that lawmakers were unable to overturn.

Mike Card, Ph.D., is an associate professor of criminal justice and political science at the University of South Dakota. He joins us with analysis of the battle between the governor and state legislators for spending authority.
