This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

The war in Ukraine continues with no end in sight. Tim Schorn, Ph.D., joins In the Moment with an update on the conflict and his analysis of its major players' actions.

He discusses Russian President Vladimir Putin's scorched-earth policy and whether the war could be won on the diplomatic stage instead of the battlefield.

Schorn is the coordinator of international studies and a professor of political science at the University of South Dakota.
