House Bill 1206 was a casualty of the budget battles during the final days of legislative session. That proposal would have helped fund the construction of a new elementary school near Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Sen. Helene Duhamel is a Republican serving that district. She joins us to discuss why the bill went before the Legislature and why she thinks it should have made it to the governor's desk.
