South Dakota House 2025 Session

A proposal to potentially increase the threshold to pass constitutional amendments advanced to the Senate.

Republicans claimed the bill would stop out of state dollars from impacting South Dakota’s elections.

Opponents claimed it infringed on the rights of South Dakota citizens. The resolution passed 61-5.
