Gov. Larry Rhoden is set to address the South Dakota Legislature for the first time as governor Tuesday.
Rhoden was sworn into the state's highest office Monday after former Gov. Kristi Noem left the position to take a role in President Donald Trump's cabinet.
Rhoden is no stranger to the Legislature. He served across both chambers for most of the first two decades of the 2000s before Noem selected him as her lieutenant governor.
The speech on the House floor is at 1:30 p.m. central time/12:30 p.m. mountain time Tuesday.
SDPB is livestreaming the address at SD.net as well as on Facebook and YouTube. A Spanish-language version will also be available.
