Dakota State University’s president is USA Today’s South Dakota Woman of the Year.
José-Marie Griffiths’ cyber initiatives in the state earned her the recognition.
She’s been a driving force behind the construction of a new cyber lab in Sioux Falls and in asking the state to fund a quantum computing center.
Griffiths has also previously been inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame.
