The University of Nevada Las Vegas defeated the University of South Dakota 75-61 on Saturday night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD. This is the third straight loss for the Coyotes, but most fans feel the team is heading in the right direction.
Brandon Bos led USD with 19 points, while Eric Robertson led the team with nine rebounds.
Three-point shooting was the weakest link for the Coyotes on Saturday night, as they shot for under twelve percent from beyond the arc, making only two. The USD men's team plays their next game on Thursday night at home against Montana State, where they'll look to improve upon their 3-8 overall record. The Coyotes open up conference play on Jan. 2 against Omaha.
