President Obama met yesterday with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Afghan president Hamid Karzai. The meeting took place amid rising concerns over the Taliban's growing power in the region, particularly in Pakistan, where, over the last few weeks, Taliban fighters have broadened their reach to extend near the capital city of Islamabad.
Also, the Obama administration has also expressed concern that the Pakistani army is too focused on India, to the East, rather than the Taliban, to the West.
