The city of Brandon is asking all residents to restrict use of water.
The city said to not water any lawns and to turn off any sprinkler systems.
The city’s water treatment plant had a major equipment failure this weekend.
City officials said they are expecting parts in a few days to fix the issue.
Although the water is safe to drink, expect low water pressure and slight discoloration of the water.
