The South Dakota Highway Patrol is planning another round of sobriety checkpoints next month.
Troopers will work with local law enforcement to conduct checkpoints in 13 counties during the month of August, including Beadle, Brown, Brule, Codington, Davison, Day, Hughes, Lawrence, Lincoln, Minnehaha, Moody, Pennington and Yankton counties.
The Highway Patrol says these checkpoints are designed to encourage people to not drink and drive.
