The South Dakota Supreme Court is declaring a judicial emergency amid a large-scale network outage across the state system.
Judicial system Officials said the emergency suspends all deadlines, schedules, due dates and filing requirements until further ordered by the court.
The order is retroactive through Tuesday, the day the outage began.
Officials say the computer issues are affecting a wide range of state networks. Within the judicial system, ePayments, eCourts and serve platforms are being affected.
Other state government functions are also feeling the effects, including the Department of Motor Vehicles. Many state websites are down.
Officials say a power outage at a state facility triggered the outage. State technicians are working on the issue, but a timeline for restoration is unclear.
