Hear the second part of Sheryl Crow's JazzFest 2013 concert in this episode of No Cover, No Minimum Radio. The concert happened just two months before Crow released her first country music album, "Feels Like Home," which was ranked by Billboard as one of the 10 Best Country Music Albums of 2013. It was also Crow's first release on Warner Bros. Records. Crow and her band were joined by another JazzFest 2013 performer, Doyle Bramhall II, for an exciting encore in this concert.
Kyle Knutson performed on the second stage at JazzFest 2013 on July 20. He describes his music as "front porch blues." The South Dakota singer/songwriter got his start on the family farm as his dad taught him chords from songs by artists like Merle Haggard and Hank Williams. With his predominate finger-picking style of guitar playing augmented by the occasional notes of a harmonica, Knutson's mature vocal lines paint portraits with a unique influence of every day landscapes. He played almost every instrument on his "Born With an Old Soul" album which has been out for almost a year.
