John Craigie

John Craigie is a singer, songwriter and storyteller in the true folk artist tradition.  The Californian has been hailed as a "Modern-Day Troubador" in the style of Woody Guthrie and Ramblin' Jack Elliott.  You can catch him playing in local bars and coffee shops, on radio shows or larger gatherings like Burning Man.  Craigie achieves the critical element of telling a story through song, but he also connects with his audience between songs through his keen observations and wit.  His themes range from social commentary to political satire, modern love and pop culture.

Craigie released two discs last year; the studio album "The Apocalypse Is Over," and the live "Live From Somewhere You've Never Heard of, In Front of Not Very Many People."  He performed for an enthusiastic crowd at The Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City on November 9, 2013 - featured this week on No Cover, No Minimum Radio.
