Backroom Productions presented Guitar Masters 2014 over two nights (February 21-22) at the John T. Vucurevich Center at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City. The eclectic group demonstrated a wide range of styles and provided a few laughs as they revealed an instant rapport. The 2014 Guitar Masters are Cary Morin whose style has been described as Native Americana Fingerstyle Blues; the heavy metal, classic rock, blues and alternative influenced Josh Marquis; the Los Angeles Music Academy trained Johnny Hastings; and Lawren Erickson who took an instant liking to surf music and The Beatles.
