Over the past couple years, South Dakota singer/songwriter Jami Lynn has steadily established a career with music that stretches from rustic, rural songs to suave jazz. As a reviewer for No Depression wrote, her voice is sweet enough to melt the hardest heart of stone one moment and powerful enough to cut down a circus strong man the next.
Lynn has just finished recording a new collection of 12 original songs and she'll perform some of them tonight during a live taping of SDPB-TV's No Cover, No Minimum. You can watch it live here at 8 pm, Central; 7, pm Mountain.
Jami Lynn joined Dakota Midday and discussed her upcoming CD and her participation in the 2015 Banjo Babes calendar and album.
