Author and poet Patrick Hicks is SDPB Radio's special guest for this week's Brown Bag Book Club. His latest collection of new and selected poems is called Library of the Mind.
Hicks has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Bush Artist Foundation, and the Loft Literary Center. He's the author of The Collector of Names, This London, and Adoptable. He also wrote the acclaimed novel The Commandant of Lubezic.
Hicks is writer-in-residence and a faculty member at Augustana University in Sioux Falls and a faculty member for the MFA program at Sierra Nevada College. He hosts Poetry from Studio 47, a weekly feature of In The Moment.
