This interview posted above is from SDPB's daily public-affairs show, In the Moment, hosted by Lori Walsh.

The Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts at the University of South Dakota presents "Sitting Down Together." It is described as a "visual dialogue between three artists" that explores themes of food, everyday objects, and domestic life.

The exhibition includes Athens, Ohio, artist Melissa Haviland, Denton, Texas, artist Andrew DeCaen, and Bowling Green, Ohio, artist Janet Ballweg.

Ballweg's prints explore the psychological tensions that exist within human relationships. She does this with scenes from the home (specifically the kitchen) and shines a spotlight on the warm and uncomfortable conversations that happen within. Ballweg joins Lori Walsh on In the Moment.

"Sitting Down together" is open now at the John A. Day Gallery on the University of South Dakota Campus. A public reception is scheduled for November 4th.
