'Valentine Crush' returns for one week of screenings

This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

"Valentine Crush" is a 2021 independent horror film shot entirely in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The film has been nominated for and won multiple awards at film festivals across the country.

Now, it's returning to its roots. The movie will screen at West Mall 7 Theatres from March 10 to 16.

Executive producer and director Jamie Wede joins the show to discuss the filmmaking process and tease why South Dakotans shouldn't miss its limited run.

Cara Hetland is the Director of Radio and Journalism Content for South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
Ellen Koester served as a producer of "In the Moment," SDPB's daily news and culture broadcast.
