Rapid City Arts Council receives grant for arts education

The John T. Vucurevich Foundation awarded a $65,000 grant to the Rapid City Arts Council. The grant will help fund arts education programs in Rapid City schools and at the Dahl Arts Center.

Melissa Nelson is the education director at the Rapid City Arts Council. She discusses the importance of arts education—especially in classrooms that lack it.
