Playwright Alison Casella Brookins uses the questions she struggles with herself to tell a story in her original play "We Own This Now." The play looks at present land ownership in light of the historical expulsion of Indigenous communities.
She joins In the Moment to discuss the questions and history that inspired her writing.
"We Own This Now" will premiere at Pioneer Hall at Freeman Academy Campus on Saturday, June 10.
