Let's turn back the clock to the early 1900s in the Midwest. Author Edward Curtis, Ph.D., is our guide through the history and culture of the area's Syrian immigrants, including members of his own family.

Curtis is the author of "Muslims of the Heartland: How Syrian Immigrants Made a Home in the American Midwest." He will present on his book and research at the Old Courthouse Museum in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.
