From Tea, SD, to Haiti: How Bruce Blumer is making a difference

Bruce Blumer

This interview originally aired on "In the Moment" on SDPB Radio.

Bruce Blumer was in Haiti during the country's devastating 2010 earthquake. Instead of turning away and saying "never again," he said "let's do more."

He is the co-founder of Haiti Alive, a nonprofit that seeks to improve education, provide health care and support women, children and the elderly. He's also the author of "It's Not My Problem...Or Is It? From Nudge to Nonprofit."

Blumer joins In the Moment to discuss how to do mission work well, finding a passion and sustaining his nonprofit's fast-paced growth.
