Events this weekend in the Black Hills will celebrate the Lunar New Year with a look back at Chinese immigrants in Deadwood and what we know about their lasting influence.

Tera Richards, education director at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center, previews the upcoming events and gives us a brief look at this rich history.

On Feb. 10, the center will ring in the Lunar New Year with a morning event for students. Learn more.
