This interview originally aired on "In the Moment" on SDPB Radio.

Kayla Obeslo and Taylor Wingert from Almost Home Canine Rescue stop by the SDPB studio to talk about fostering and adopting South Dakota's furry residents.

Wingert introduces us to two of her foster pups. Rooster is a 1 year old who leads a very active lifestyle while Mittens is a puppy and more of a "lounger." Both are available for adoption.

She also shares what you need to know when considering opening your home to a new pet.

Plus, Obselo talks about how the need for fosters, volunteers and adopters is much higher this time of year.
