This interview originally aired on "In the Moment" on SDPB Radio.

We talk with visual artist Signe Stuart about her experiences as a teacher and artist in South Dakota.

Now living in Santa Fe, Stuart was a professor at South Dakota State University for 22 years. We ask about her teaching days and her mark on the state's artistic landscape.

Plus, the "Signe Stuart: Events in Time and Space" exhibit at the South Dakota Art Museum displays over 60 years of her work. It's open through the end of this month.
