For the past five years, the Arc of Dreams has stretched over the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls. The steel sculpture is longer than a football field and rises 85 feet over the river.
Dale Lamphere is South Dakota's Artist Laureate and creator of the SculptureWalk's Arc of Dreams.
He describes the years-long design process to create the piece and what he hopes people take from the sculpture five years after its installation.
