Life is a frog pond, and we are all splashing around in it. That's the way Cory Cavill sees the world. Cavill is a poet, storyteller, and performance artist.
She presents "Welcome to the Frog Pond" on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City.
Cavill struggled to find her artistic place in the Black Hills when she first arrived in the late 1990s. Her longing for connection in a technological world inspired moments in her show when audience members join in with well-timed croaks, chirps and howls.
