Sometimes we get interesting requests from fans of SDPB. We were asked to fulfill a dying wish…to record poetry. Jon Hart recently lost his nine and a half year battle with cancer on Saturday June 6. It was his dying wish to record himself reading some of his poetry to us. SDPB spent several hours with Jon the day before he entered hospice care. There is a mixture of serious and humorous, and a glimpse of his life here. This was a moving experience and an honor to share his poetry with his family and friends.
