South Dakota Trade is leading a delegation of businesses and industry associations to Mexico this week.
The mission’s goal is to increase export sales of agriculture, manufacturing and biotech products, as well as promote foreign direct investment opportunities in the state.
South Dakota Trade previously went to Mexico in 2023.
After making similar trips to Japan and Taiwan, CEO Jesse Fonkert said these trips “build trust, open doors and drive real results for South Dakota exporters.”
Plans are in the works for similar missions to Ireland and Canada set for later this year.
