Before You Play
Before preparing any food, have a discussion about safety in the kitchen. Ask your child what tasks she might be able to handle when preparing a meal? Talk about jobs an adult should handle.
Directions
1. Explain to your child that you are going to help her prepare a special breakfast that could be served on the Dinosaur Train. Help her create a menu that lists the food items. (You can help younger children write out the menu items.) View the printout for possible menu items.
2. Together, decide what you will prepare.
3. Follow the recipe(s) and enjoy!
