Materials
- 1 cup of cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water
- Food coloring (optional)
- Plastic bowl or bin
Directions
1. Help your child measure 3/4 cup of water in a plastic measuring cup.
2. If you have food coloring, have your child add a couple of drops to the water.
3. Help your child measure 1 cup of cornstarch. Pour into a plastic bowl or bin. Ask your child, "What do you think will happen when the liquids are added to the corn starch?"
