My name is Jim Miles, Senior District Executive for Scouting America’s Black Hills Area Council.
Over the next two weekends, (Nov 8, Nov 15) we’ll be conducting our 39th annual Scouting for Food drive. In light of the challenges many in our community are currently facing, this may be one of the most important food drives we’ve held in recent memory.
Our Scouts, along with their families and friends, are “Doing Our Duty to Others” by serving as the hands and feet of this effort—distributing and collecting food bags and donations across the area.
We need your help to get the word out and make sure no one in our community goes hungry. Any assistance you can provide in sharing this effort or encouraging participation would mean a great deal.
