Jerry and Norma met at the University of Oklahoma where both completed Ph.D.s in English. They moved to South Dakota in 1978. They live in rural Vermillion, South Dakota in a geo-solar home they built in 1982.
Norma Wilson retired after 27 years of teaching at the University of South Dakota as English Professor Emerita. She is the author of five books of poetry. She will read from her three most recent books: Rivers, Wings & Sky, Frog Creek Road, and Continuity.
A former professor and managing editor of South Dakota Magazine, Jerry Wilson is the author of six books: a travel book, a collection of short stories, two eco-memoirs and two novels. He will read from his eco-memoir, Seasons of the Coyote and from his most recent novel, Eden to Orizaba.
