The Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library is excited to announce an essential Lunch & Learn event titled "Unlocking Resources: An Overview of ROCS Programs," featuring the Rural Office of Community Services (ROCS).
The community is invited to join us for a presentation on Wednesday, December 10th, at 12:00 PM (Noon) in the library’s Kozak Room.
The program will be led by Joshua Earl, ROCS Outreach Provider, who will offer a comprehensive look at how ROCS supports qualifying households in our area. Attendees will gain a vital understanding of the full scope of local assistance programs available to community members and clients.
The presentation will cover the ROCS Core Services, which include:
Dining
Transit
Community Cares
Weatherization
Additionally, Joshua Earl will provide detailed information on In-Depth Assistance Programs such as ESG, HOF, SHIP, SDAP, and CSBG.
This is a must-attend event for social workers, community leaders, and any individual seeking to better understand the available resources for local households. A light lunch will be provided for all attendees.
