Black Hills Community continues its 56th Season with the hilarious British comedy One Man, Two Guvnors by Richard Bean. Always in search of an extra meal ticket, Francis Henshall unwittingly becomes employed by two men. Unbeknownst to Francis, Roscoe Crabbe, his first employer, is actually Rachel Crabbe posing as her own dead brother, who has been killed by her boyfriend (who, of course, is Stanley Stubbers – Francis’ other employer). To prevent his two guvnors from finding out about each other, Francis simply must keep them apart. Set in 1960s England, this farce filled with mistaken identities, physical comedy and a live Skiffle band, is sure to have you laughing from beginning to end.
One Man, Two Guvnors is directed by Hannah Bowman with music direction by local musician Alex Massa. The cast of local performers includes Jessie Adams, Dillon Burton, Jessica Castleberry, Mercy Chebor, Alexis Evon, Tom Fulbright, Cierra Hall, Oliver Juhl, Jason Knox, Tyler Mathieson, Craig Pfeifle, Ryan Puffer, Laura Savage, Jeffrey Alan Smith, and Vince Vidal. This production contains mild language and adult situations.
