“Owl” O Ween

“Owl” O Ween

Join the Black Hills Raptor Center in celebrating “Owl”-O-Ween on Saturday, October 21 at the Black Hills Raptor Center facility, 15256 EAST Hwy 44, Rapid City. Families are invited to make a reservation and explore the world of owls and other raptors while trick- or- treating. Costumes are encouraged!!
Black Hills Raptor Center volunteers will be on site with candy, activities, and education birds for participants to meet. Families can go Trunk- or- Treating, dissect owl pellets, make paper bag owls, take family photos in our autumn display, enjoy a scavenger hunt, and play owl-themed corn hole for kids.
Participants can also stop by the site of the next building, the treatment center, and learn what we are doing for wild raptors in our region. There also be will be hot cider, coffee, and a cookie for every child.
Reservations are required to help us keep the numbers of people on site manageable. The event is free, with a free will donation encouraged, or donation of a roll of paper towels. Make your reservations now for one of 5 opportunities on Saturday, October 21. The first group will start at noon, and the final group for the afternoon will be at 4pm. Each group is limited to 80 people.
