There are 61 DUIs, 59 misdemeanor drug charges, and 31 felony drug arrests so far during the 2022 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Those numbers all surpass last year's numbers from the same date.
According to the data published by the state Highway Patrol, there have been 18 non-injury crashes associated with this year's rally, 22 injury crashes, and two fatal crashes.
There has been no cash seized by law enforcement through this point of the rally, compared to $1,862 by this date last year.
As of the most recently published numbers, the current Sturgis traffic count is about 6.5 percent higher than the rally's five-year average.
