South Dakota Game Fish and Parks has identified a suspect in a case of poaching in the northeast part of the state.
Two large bucks were shot and left in Hecla over the weekend, according to a release from South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks.
Officials said several people called the “TIP” (Turn in Poachers) hotline with leads. Investigators used this information to track down the suspected poachers.
Charges are pending, authorities said.
