A fiery propane explosion prompted evacuations in a Huron neighborhood.
Several people called 911 Saturday evening to report explosions in a garage on the east side of the city, according to the Huron Fire Department.
The fire was spreading to other buildings by the time firefighters arrived. Police evacuated neighboring homes while firefighters battled the flames.
Crews got the fire under control within a few hours.
No one was hurt.
Investigators said the explosions were caused by propane tanks and ammunition stored in the garage.
It’s still unclear what sparked the fire.
