Two people, including a Watertown police officer, received minor injuries after a car crashed into a patrol vehicle.
The police car's dashcam captured video of the incident, which happened Monday afternoon on U.S. Highway 212 near Interstate 29 on the east side of Watertown.
Police said a vehicle pulling onto the westbound lane of the road struck another car. The second car lost control, crossed the center median and struck the eastbound police vehicle head-on.
The officer and the driver of the car were treated and released at a Watertown hospital.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
