One of four people connected to the homicide case of Sioux Falls resident Paul Billion has entered a guilty plea.

Billion was found dead in August of last year in a home on South Duluth Avenue. The Minnehaha County coroner determined cause of death to be homicide by gunshot after an autopsy.

Soteemon Poley, 18 at the time of his arrest, has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in Minnehaha County Court while maintaining his not guilty plea on a burglary charge.

The charge of first-degree murder has been dismissed. His manslaughter charge could be punished by life in prison.

Three other individuals, all teenagers, have been arrested in connection to the case and face charges of murder, burglary and grand theft.
