A teacher facing sexual misconduct charges involving a student is no longer employed by the Watertown School District.

The Watertown School Board voted unanimously to accept the resignation of 32-year-old Jordan Bakken at its meeting Monday night.

The attorney general’s office says Bakken is charged with fourth-degree rape and solicitation of a minor in Brookings County. The charges stem from what officials called an “inappropriate relationship” with a student.
