Authorities have arrested a man in connection to a Sioux Falls bank robbery.
Police said 57-year-old Melvin Gatlin is charged with first-degree robbery and grand theft.
Gatlin is accused of holding up a bank in southwest Sioux Falls Friday morning. Police said he handed clerks a note demanding money. He was given cash then drove way.
Investigators used surveillance footage to identify his license plate. This led authorities to a home in Ritchfield, Minnesota.
Local police eventually found Gatlin there and took him into custody.
